The engineer draws the harness once
Wire harness design software for contract manufacturers: the harness engineer creates one drawing that carries the verified engineering information — connectors, wires, lengths, and branches — and every downstream output derives from it.
What the drawing carries
The harness drawing is the single source. It represents the connectors the harness uses, the wires that connect them, the lengths the engineer assigns, and how the harness branches from connector to connector.
Because all five outputs — digital work instructions, the instant quote, the bill of materials, the formboard, and the wire cut list — derive from this drawing, the engineering information only needs to be captured once, at the point where the engineer is thinking about it.

Connectors
Which connectors the harness uses and how many positions each has. This is what the BOM's connector line items come from.
Wires
Which wires connect which pins — from-point to to-point — and the gauge and color the engineer assigns. This is what the cut list comes from.
Lengths
The wire lengths the engineer draws. Preparation cuts wire to these lengths; the formboard shows the paths the wires follow.
Branches
How the harness splits — where a run breaks out toward additional connectors. The formboard layout and the assembly sequence in the work instructions both reflect the drawn branching.
Where the drawing goes next
Once the drawing exists, Harnessora generates the five outputs from it:
