The wire preparation list, generated from the drawing

Harnessora generates a wire preparation list from drawing data: which wires to cut, each wire’s identifier from the drawing, and its length. Wire preparation pulls the list and cuts to match — no re-reading the print for every wire.

From drawing to cut list

Every wire the engineer drew appears on the cut list with its from-point, to-point, gauge, color, and length. Because the list is generated from the drawing, preparation works from the same wire definitions the formboard and work instructions use.

Wire preparation

Cuts and preps wire to the drawn lengths, working from the list rather than measuring from a print.

Sees the full wire picture for the job, generated from the drawing rather than maintained as a separate file.

What the cut list is and is not

The cut list is the wire preparation list for the person or team cutting wire: wire identifiers, gauge, color, and length. Preparation works from it directly. How each shop hands the list to its cut-and-strip machinery is a decision for the shop; additional preparation fields — can be added when a shop's process is known.
